If you feel something stirring inside that whispers, it’s time… this circle is for you.

As autumn deepens and the light begins to fade, the Earth invites us inward, into reflection, healing, and release. This firewalk is not about daring or proving; it is about trusting what already lives within you and allowing yourself to be held by the land, by the circle and by the fire itself.

On Saturday, November 8th, we will gather in ceremony to honor the turning of the season and the light that still burns within us. We’ll begin by arriving softly, connecting with the land beneath our feet, feeling its steady rhythm and lighting the sacred fire together. As the flames rise, we will open space through grounding and guided journeywork to help you reconnect with your deeply rooted inner power, the part of you that remembers how to walk through transformation with grace.

From that place of strength and inner knowing we’ll move into an empowerment practice, awakening your radiance and anchoring it through the body before we approach the firewalk itself. All will be held by the medicine. Each step across the embers awakens something ancient in our bones, a knowing that we can meet fear with compassion and rise renewed and whole once more.

Firewalking is an ancient ritual practiced across cultures for thousands of years, a sacred act of prayer, transformation and initiation. It teaches us to move through life’s fires not with resistance but with faith.

Meet Your Guide

I’m Liz Disterhoft, LICSW, a healer, teacher and firewalk instructor certified through Sundoor School of Firewalking. I’ve led women’s circles, retreats, and ceremonies for over a decade, always with the prayer of helping people reconnect to their inner strength and sovereignty. Guiding others across the fire is one of the most powerful and humbling ways I serve. The flame awakens something timeless in all of us.
